A Bit About Me: JEANNIE S. DE FAZIO operates Terra, International, a real estate consulting, development and brokerage firm. She is the exclusive broker for Newflower Farmers Market in Austin and San Antonio. Prior to starting her own firm, Ms. De Fazio was Vice President –Development for Blackhawk Development in Austin, TX. ,and has directed the sale, leasing and marketing programs for several other prominent developers, including Cousins Properties, as Vice President of Leasing. She also previously acted as Real Estate Director, West for Regis Corporation, the largest hair salon operator in North America and Europe. In this position, she was responsible for site selection and strategic planning for Regis’ multi-branded stores in California, Arizona, Nevada and Utah, completing over 100 transactions and opening 65 stores in her last year with the company. Prior to joining Regis, Jeannie has represented retailers, including Payless ShoeSource as a Regional Director, Factory 2-U Stores and Animal Health. She has also engaged in consulting for the City of Vista, CA for retail recruitment and their redevelopment projects. She has been involved in the development and marketing of commercial properties since 1978, responsible for over 13 million square feet of retail, office, residential and industrial properties and hundreds of retail store openings. Ms.
De Fazio is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), holding the organization’s Senior Certified Leasing Specialist designation, Urban Land Institute (ULI), National Association of Office and Industrial Parks (NAIOP), CREW Austin, Real Estate Council of Austin (RECA), National Home Builders Association, Central Texas Commercial Association of Realtors (CTCAR) and has been a frequent panelist at industry events. She is an active Real Estate Broker in Texas and California.
