I stepped up in the Lynn discussion because I saw you, the "self proclaimed" educator of this form aggressively diminishing another person's situation and thought it nessessary to coment.

As far as educating you on my background, you affiliated me with someone else and felt it nessessary to correct you with miss information you put out there.

No back peddling at all. And while you may now more in some areas than others, my initial comment to you was just the same situation as in the Lynn display. It is the way you come accross. You belittle others by trying to intimidate them with your knowledge and background. This mannor speaks volumes for one's personality and ethics.

I will continue to speak up when someone is belittleing another because it is the right thing to do.

Let me put aside what seems like animosity on my part. Sometimes things are written first then read second.

 

Michael, JP Morgan didn't poison my thinking. I left there because the opportunities were far greater on the outside than by staying there. I would have been very happy being there forever, however, I felt I could do better on my own and I have.

 

I am well aware of this business being about relationships. I feel that on this forum you have many new people who fall prey to people who post opportunities here and cannot even be honest in their dealings. Not everyone is like that, but many are, many more are than not.

 

This is one of the best forums in existence for commercial real estate and people come here and post deals for example, of NPN's, yet there is not one commercial property on the tape, it is all residential properties.

 

Also, there are people who talk about being direct to the bank, yet they are five away from the bank. I have been through the really bad in this business and I choose to try to keep others from getting hurt. I am trying to look out for people.

 

Perhaps you don't see it that way, I cannot speak for you.

I agree with you on being miles away from the bank, but they have to decide how to spend their time. I think with your background and knowledge you give great insight on how these institutions actually work or don't work. This benefits all. Unfortunately, people will continue to get hurt in this business but that is how they grow and learn. Maybe if your not doing this yet, you should give a seminar or webinar on how to deal with these banks from an insiders perspective?

Anyways the message is all in the delivery.

Though I appreciate your comments and at times "bitch session", there is a time and place for both and here is not the place. You two should have addressed your comments that did not relate to the subject at hand in personal e-mails. Both of you have some knowledge in this "business", why not start your own subject on dealing with banks, etc. using this knowledge.

As for posting deals that do not relate to commercial deals. Many SFRs are commercial deals. There are people in this business that do both sides (SFR and Commercial) and this is a good place to reach these people. There is no SFR REO wed site like CREPIG, so until there is we use this to reach people in this business.
