One of their investment interests is in transactional funding for commercial opportunities. They can do up to $2,000,000.00 per transaction, 60 days maximum with a 30 day sweetspot.
The biggest question I am always asked is "Do they base their decision on credit". That is a fair question. It is not based upon credit, no credit report is initiated.
My funding partner for this program makes a preferred equity investment in the deals they undertake. They do however conduct a criminal background check. This is to ensure that the principle(s) for the transaction have not committed wrong doing on real estate transactions of a criminal nature, mortgage fraud, appraisal manipulation, etc.
