have purchased 2909 Fountain View, which contains 13,565 square feet. When remodeling is
complete, the retail store, showroom, service and corporate offices will relocate from 4527
Lomitas near U.S. 59 and Kirby. The seller, Mayfield I Ltd., was represented by Jude Filippone
of Transwestern. Ed Wolff of Beth Wolff Realtors and Mark Kidd of M Kidd Properties
represented the buyers.
INDUSTRIAL: Marc Knight has purchased an industrial service site on 6.7 acres at 6802
Interstate 10 East in Baytown from 4 – T Management. Wade Sinclair with Claire Sinclair
Properties brokered the transaction.
LAND: Dirk D. Laukien has purchased 1.69 acres at the Grand Parkway and Cinco Ranch
Boulevard in Katy. Tony Armstrong and Ed Page of Page Partners represented the seller, LTF
Real Estate Co. Sean Quinn of the Quinn Co. represented the buyer.
RETAIL: FM 249 LP has purchased a 25,000-square-foot building at Texas 249 and North
Houston Rossyln Road. Abe Charski of ACI represented the buyer. David Scheffler of Venture
Commercial represented the seller.
LAND: International Union of Operating Engineers Local Union #450 Apprenticeship and
Training Fund has purchased 303 acres on Texas 146 in Liberty County from Waterway
Development. The land is about six miles north of Interstate 10 East and is planned as the site of
a business office and training facility. James Garrity of Garrity Commercial Real Estate
represented the seller. Claire Sinclair of Claire Sinclair Properties represented the buyer. Carolyn
Cannata with Waterway Development also assisted with the transaction. Charlotte Mercer of
Tarver Abstract Co. handled the closing.
LAND: Deal Real Estate Services has purchased 25.3 acres at 11200 Texas 225 from Invista.
Rob Stillwell of Grubb & Ellis represented the seller. Fred Deal of Jackson & Cooksey
represented the buyer.
LAND: The Rev. Farley T. Colbalt has purchased an 8.7-acre tract at 19000 W. Aldine
Westfield Road. Elliott Hirshfeld and Glynn Mireles of CB Richard Ellis represented the seller,
EP Management Corp.
OFFICE: Hines Global REIT has acquired Hock Plaza, a 327,160-square-foot building in
Durham, N.C., from Brickman Durham. The 12-story office building is adjacent to Duke
University.
INDUSTRIAL: A.H. Powers of Seattle has purchased a seven-property portfolio with buildings
in Oklahoma and Texas. The properties are all leased to Cummins Southern Plains. David Butler
of Colliers International represented the buyer. The seller was Charter SW Seven, a Texas
limited partnership, represented by Jerry Hopkins with Stan Johnson Co. The portfolio was
purchased as an investment in a 1033 exchange.
INDUSTRIAL: Flair Flexible Packaging has purchased the 50,000-square-foot Building 2
within Lakeview Business Park at 14523 Fairway Pines Drive in Missouri City. The deal marks
the first building sold in the newly developed 157-acre business park by Trammell Crow Co. and
Crow Holdings Realty Partners IV. Flair, headquartered in Calgary, Canada, will serve
customers in the southern United States, Central America and South America from the facility,
which will house its plastic food packaging manufacturing and distribution operations. Powers
Brown Architecture, which designed all four of the buildings in Lakeview Business Park, will be
Flair's interior design architect. Alexander Reilly and Bo Pettit with Boyd Commercial
represented the seller.
LAND: Davanti Homes has purchased five residential lots in the Villages of Northgate Crossing
near Interstate 45 North and the Hardy Toll Road in Spring. Edward Taravella of Taracorp
represented the seller, Amegy Mortgage Co. Brett Beardsley with Charter Development
represented the buyer.
LAND: The former Gillman Automotive Group site, on an 18.7-acre tract of land at the
southeast corner of Fondren Road and Bellaire Boulevard, was sold to St. Agnes Academy. The
Situs team, composed of Martin Bronstein, Maury Bronstein, Randall Tuller and John S. Wall
Jr., advised and represented Kennedy Funding on the sale of this REO property, while Situs'
Rodney Lerner represented St. Agnes Academy.

Westland West Blvd. from Cooley & Cooley. James Garrity of Garrity Commercial Real Estate
represented the seller. Thomas Peloski, manager of Noram Holdings Texas, identified the site for
the relocation and expansion of its Tomball facilities. The company services and sells parts for
various computer numerical controlled products. Joe Bill Whittenburg with Strasburger & Price
provided legal representation for the seller. Milton Havlick Jr. of Klein & Havlick provided legal
representation for the buyer. Melissa Dunkirk of Stewart Title in Tomball coordinated title
services.
OFFICE/RETAIL: Two commercial buildings totaling 11,000 square feet at 3815 Garrott have
changed hands between private investors. Greg Lewis of Lewis Property Co. represented the
seller.
LAND: Darvesh Investments has purchased 211 acres on the west side of Mueschke Road at the
future Grand Parkway from the Joseph Family Trust. Stewart Title Commercial closed the sale.
John Nichols represented the seller, and Richard Pevey with Realquest represented the buyer.
RETAIL: Buffet Partners/Furr's Fresh Buffet has purchased 2.4 acres at the northwest corner of
Interstate 45 and Louetta. David Stukalin with The Retail Connection represented the buyer.
