Which Best Describes You? (Pick All That Apply)
What Do You Need
The plan to create a consortium, or partnership, of active construction contractors around a minority shell company is structured to compete primarily in the local, state and federal government set-a-side markets at its onset and beyond. The idea of literally teaming with various specialty trades is a result of years of construction experience as an employee of both general contracting firms as well as sub-contracting firms. As a middle manager in both areas of expertise, I realized the frustrations from both sides of the spectrum.
For the most part, projects get completed on time although there is a constant pressure that has to be applied from both sides in order to reach a successful outcome for the individual parties involved. My experience leads me to the conclusion that this is a result of each individual contracting firm’s having individual goals in respect to the outcome of a project. Understandably, this goal is individual profits.
What Do You Offer
I intend to complete the company structure as explained by selling 40% of the company’s ownership. I have broken these percentages into small affordable blocks, as shown in the diagram below, so that contractors and/or individuals interested in actively participating in this endeavor will see that this is nothing less than great opportunity to diversify their current situation and realize a benefit from the very first project.
In addition, I have set-a-side 9% ownership for key employees that join our team and help develop and achieve its long term goals.
