Newer Commercial Buildings designed for LEED or other green initiatives utilize Daylighting as a means of reducing energy. With daylighting comes unwanted glare on computer screens as staff are working. The importance of properly selected window shadings that coordinate with the desired daylighting effects and that work without needing users to control them is ever more important for new buildings. Window shading systems need to be part of the building envelope package and green initiatives.
