Mark is the Vice President for Platinum Funding, a national provider of residential and commercial mortgage services. Platinum Funding lends in all 50 states and several foreign countries.
He has been involved with real estate since 1985, and is experienced in REO portfolio management, brokerage, mortgage and appraisal. He started his career with the Dallas Central Appraisal District, achieving the position of commercial appraiser. Mark later became the REO District Manager for Great Western Bank covering the states of Texas, Oklahoma and Colorado where he doubled the previous annual sales volume prior to his arrival.
Mark joined Dallas based Mohr Partners Commercial Brokerage in 1999 where he was instrumental in putting together the $62 million Infomart Los Angeles project. Infomart Los Angeles is the historic Terminal Annex Building or Main Post Office next to Union Station in downtown Los Angeles. This building was turned into one of the most important Internet / Telecom buildings in Southern California.
After joining Platinum Funding in 2005, Mark formed the Commercial Division which lends on every property type with loan amounts from $150,000 to $500 million. He attended The University of Texas Austin and Arlington and graduated with a BBA in Business Administration in 1985. Mark was President of Rho Epsilon, a professional real estate fraternity.
Mark lives in Laguna Niguel, California and has one daughter, Allyn, who is a sophomore at the University of Texas Austin. He is an avid tennis player and golfer and is active in several real estate related associations. He is licensed in Texas and California.
