- Karim Jaude, your partner in real estate, has founded and operated 19 successful companies in 8 countries. He made his first million by the age of 26 by buying and fixing up distressed properties and businesses.
For the last 40 years, Karim has developed, invested, financed, brokered, managed, and consulted in real estate properties in 8 countries.
These properties have ranged from single family homes to condo projects and apartment buildings; from shopping centers to commercial and industrial buildings; from hotels to land, mixed-use, and special use properties.
He has built from scratch, remodeled, fixed up, and converted properties for different uses, in order to maximize the return on investments. In 1984 he was the very first to convert an industrial building in downtown Los Angeles into artist lofts. His offices have handled over $20 billion in real estate transactions.
Karim writes, teaches, and speaks about real estate frequently. He has been published in over 115 business and real estate publications nationwide, as well as 42 newsletters and e-zines.
Karim enjoys reading, tennis, skiing and traveling.

JW Najarian Is a very good friend of mine, and any recommendation of his, is quite meaningful to me. I am currently working on projects mostly based in California & Florida. John Stroz said… - Hello Karim. My name is John Stroz. I am a real estate investor, based out of Denver, CO. I have a few single family houses under my belt, buy my main focus right now is multifamily complexes. I actually found a great opportunity, but I need about 800K in equity funding. Being relatively new at this, I have gotten the training and the knowledge necessary to know how to analyze a property, market, opportunity, etc. But seeing as how I need to raise some serious money, I was wondering: as a general rule, what kind of IRR do equity investors want to see in a deal?
